No sábado (23) foi realizada a premiação British Podcast Awards 2022, desenvolvida pela Audible, em Londres. Elis James e John Robins foram os anfitriões e vários podcasts foram premiados.
Um dos maiores prêmios da noite, o Champion Podcast, foi para ‘You, Me and the Big C’. O prêmio homenageia o trabalho de Dame Deborah James, Rachel Bland, Lauren Mahon e toda a sua equipe, cujo podcast contribuiu para a conscientização e percepção do público sobre o câncer e o tratamento do câncer.
O único prêmio votado pelo público, The Listeners’ Choice Award, teve mais de 60 mil votos e premiou o podcast RedHanded pela segunda vez, um true crime.
